Not Really a big fan of “psychology” in writing books. But in The Story Book: A Writer’s Guide to Story Development, Principles, Problem-solving and Marketing David Baboulene does a good job of explaining how subtest works and how to best incorporate multiple layers of meaning into your writing. Here’s the Table of contents and a sample of the first chapter. Pay attention to the charts. I kinda like them.
