Oooohh. Shiny Pen for Moleskine
Found this while perusing the latest ThinkGeek Catalog. Love it. This and a Moleskine Cahier make me feel like a real writer: Inka Pen Travel Pen In the office, many people steal from you. They take your ideas, they take your lunch, and most annoyingly, they take your pens. Well, it’s time to draw a line in the carpet. Time to stand up and say, “I will never be without a pen again.” Time to get yourself an Inka Pen. …

Happy Birthday Edgar Allan Poe
Here’s a box My Daughter Jamie did for a school project. I posted on an earlier site, and it was noticed by the Library of Richmond who wanted to use it for the Poe Centennial. Called for Help The first half of the 80s was good for geeks and bad for ghosts. It was a time when we as a culture were apparently obsessed with getting rid of supernatural beings. Some important lessons we learned from our ghost-fighting mentors: If someone asks you if you’re a god, say yes. …

How To Kill A Blog in 4 Easy Steps
Image via Wikipedia Byzantine Roads is going through some growing pains right now. I’ve been working on a novel project that, although slow, is progressing nicely. I Didn’t win Nano. Heck, I didn’t even come close. But I’m happy with the outlining, research, and yes, even the little drafting I managed to get done on “Teddy Roosevelt and the Lost World.” So, the more I look at the various posts and categories of this site, and the more I look …
